Our winemakers’ commitment

The festival charter

Grrrabuge reflects the wine of tomorrow, and we see that wine as having little or no intervention. For greater transparency at the fair, and so that all producers can present their work on an equal footing, a charter has been drawn up, largely inspired by the charter of the Syndicat des vins naturels. This charter, signed by all exhibitors, applies to every cuvée presented at the fair.

I. The grapes must come from organic farming (Bio or Nature & Progrès certification), biodynamic farming or farming in conversion.

II. Grapes must be harvested by hand.

III. Cuvées should contain 0 mg/L of added sulphites, but may contain up to 20 mg/L of added sulphites provided this is clearly indicated at the fair.

IV. Cuvées must be made using indigenous yeasts, without filtration, fining, chaptalisation or any form of oenological intervention, including thermovinification and cryo-extraction.

V. No inputs, chemical or otherwise, may be used in the winemaking process.
